A CONCERT SPACE
2022 / Installation / Zürich
The concert space was designed and built to enhance the synesthetic experience of sound and space through the tectonics of organic architecture to unite people in their passion for music.
The realised project presents state-of-the-art research in structural fabrication of membrane formworks, acoustical engineering, and architectural design within the ephemeral experience of performances in music and play.
The concert space was conceived within the framework of the master thesis at the DARCH ETH Zürich and presents space as an art form, yet being a sustainable and cost-friendly state-of-the-art solution for the prefabrication of double-curved structural elements in architecture.
To celebrate the love for music after the lockdown, it hosted over 25 public nonprofit performances in spring 2022.
